That’s where Sleevey Wonders, the original slip-on sleeves come into play.
Fashion is a form of self-expression that allows us to communicate our
personalities without saying a word. And when we feel confident and stylish – it
sets the tone for a wonderful day or evening!
My own journey with creativity led to the invention of Sleevey Wonders because I
wanted to be able to add sleeves that gave the illusion of being built into any
sleeveless top or dress.
I’m a woman and artist who loves fashion and owned beautiful sleeveless tops
and dresses - but in my 50’s, I wasn’t always comfortable with showing my bare
arms. Traditional cover-ups hid the outfit underneath and often provoked hot
flashes! I imagined a different arm cover solution.
I designed slip-on sleeves in different styles and fabrics (mesh sleeves, lace
sleeves and jersey sleeves) that could be worn UNDER sleeveless clothing,
creating a whole new look with the illusion that the add on sleeves were part of
the garment, due to having no shoulder seams and without adding any bulk to the
body.
This simple idea gave women the freedom to continue wearing the clothes they
loved while feeling more confident & stylish. What began as a personal need grew
into a successful business that has helped women around the world since 2011.
I am at my best when creating and doing something that makes others happy.
